This addictive little game is very simple but deceptively challenging. Drive and Park is available to download as an apk and install onto your Android device. You progress through different levels across different areas of the world. The gameplay is very repetitive but evolves in such a way that the game remains addictive.
As you finish different cities of the world you unlock new cars. These cars might have special abilities, or reward more money. Because the cars are all sort of similar, the stats that increase are speed and control. Different models also appear, like jeeps, sedans, etc.
Actual gameplay
The process is simple. On each level of Drive and Park you must park as many cars as you can to earn the right amount of money. You can park in the spot easily by holding your finger on the screen and flick into the spot.
Watch out for obstacles. If you crash then you’ll have to start all over again. Parking in disabled spots, on double yellow lines, or where there’s a baby carriage…well, you fail, and you’ll have to try again.
Thanks to the genius mechanics behind free apps on the Google Play Store, especially games, all you need to do is watch a video and you can carry on parking. Especially good if you mess up on the last parking spot!
General impressions and review
When we first played this game we were underwhelmed, but after a couple more minutes playing we got to understand the simple pleasure behind Drive and Park. It’s actually addictive. Collecting cars is fun!
